How to: Align controls in a form.
Solution:
In the Form Design view, select the desired controls, select the 'Format' menu, select 'Align' and select the desired alignment for the controls.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Forms' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired form from the list box. (The selected form is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected form appears in the Design view and the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) To align controls relative to each other:
a) Select the desired controls. (Hold down SHIFT and click to select each desired control; handles appear around each control.)

b) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Align'. (A submenu appears.)
c) Select the desired alignment:
1] Click left to align the left edges of the controls with the leftmost controls left edge.
2] Click right to align the right edges of the controls with the rightmost controls right edge.
3] Click top to align the top edges of the controls with the highest controls top edge.
4] Click bottom to align the bottom edges of the controls with the lowest controls bottom edge.
6) To align corners of controls to the grid:
a) Select the desired controls. (Hold down SHIFT and click to select each desired control; handles appear around each control.)

b) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Size'. (A submenu appears.)
c) Select the 'To Grid'. (The control size is adjusted automatically so all four corners of each control connect with the nearest grid point.)
NOTE: Controls cannot overlap, instead the controls are placed adjacent to each other.
